Twitter Q & A #wfqa Interview with Julian Sampson, Solicitor


First up is Julian Sampson, a Partner Solicitor in Wright & Wright of Guildford, Surrey.

“Julian qualified as a Solicitor in 1998 and became a Partner in the firm in 2005. Julian is a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner as well as a property and lending expert. Julian has acted for specialist lenders and investors over the last 10 years and is well known in the financial services intermediary markets. Julian’s technical competence allows the firm to punch above its weight and has enabled it to secure a highly successful client base. Julian ensures his clients receive the benefits of others’ wisdom and contacts through cross-referral and match-making and many positive outcomes have arisen as a result.”

1. @WalkerFox (WF)Why did you get involved with twitter?

@JulianSampsonWW (JS): I got involved because there are individuals & markets that are almost exclusive to Twitter…and I want them!

2. WF: What sort of messages can we expect from your twitter feed

JS: so I use news feeds/wires for news, Twitter for engaging and the pub for socialising 🙂 I have 2 a/c’s for 2 different work areas- both have slightly different mixes of chat and my take on news- about 50/50

3. WF: Where do you find your inspiration in the property industry?

JS: simple- the people I have had the pleasure of listening to/watching build their businesses- largely financial services

4. WF: What’s your biggest property tip?

JS: less debt is more freedom 🙂

5. WF: Where do invest in property?

JS: sw and se London

6. WF:  Is property your ‘career’ or what else do you do?

JS: lawyer and NED for various IT, property fund and financial services companies

7. WF:  What else is your passion?

JS: my family, hair/beauty, professional success and recognition

    Thanks I finally came to a website where the webmaster knows what they’re talking about. Do you know how many results are in Google when I search.. too many! It’s so irritating having to go through page after page after page, wasting my day away with thousands of owners just copying eachother’s articles… bah. Anyway, thanks for the information anyway, much obliged.
